Heyyoooo peoplee! Yesterday, I fought with a cockroach. Yes I am serious. Too bad I am a entomophobia. To be specific, cockroachophobia (Please take note that this word only appear in my life dictionary. You can't find this word in Oxford dictionary nor the net) And more bad news, the cockroach can fly! :O
Okay. So the mindgame between me and the cockroach begin. Why I say mindgame? Because for your information, cockroaches can sense danger coming from behind them because of a nerve that runs the entire length of their bodies (I read this just before I saw the cockroach). So, it will be hard for me to get near to it. Even if I can get near to it, I will not near it anyway xD
With a broom as a weapon, an insecticide spray as a magic wave and a piece of blanket all around my body as armor, I start to think when is the perfect time to use my weapon or my magic wave. At the kitchen. Alone with the flying cockroach which is harmless but dangerous, doing nothing, just rest there. I was at the kitchen yesterday to drink water. Unfortunately, I saw this disgusting creature wandering around in the kitchen. And I don't know why I go away and come back with my 'equipment' for war. When I came back, it stopped and stared at me. To be honest, I don't know what that creature did. I just consider that the cockroach is staring at me. Maybe many of you are saying I am crazy because why a cockroach want to stare at me? I even not wearing a meat dress like Lady Gaga! Okay. Let's say if when you are wandering alone at the park. Suddenly a person come and stare at you and walk like wanna kill you. Will you just walk like before the person come? There you go. The answer for your question. Back to topic.
So I tried to come near to the cockroach. When I were like 1 meter away from it, as expected, the cockroach flew away and as expected, I ran away too xD So I took a peek at the kitchen, to make sure where is the cockroach, I saw nothing. NOTHING. First, I don't know where is the freaking cockroach. Second, I am very thirsty! I need water!
I have to stay brave. And I took the first step with my weapon and stored 'energy' to shoot the cockroach. Look around. Still can't see that disgusting creature. Second step. Still nothing. Third step. Put the broom and insecticide spray and I took a glass quickly and turn to the water jug. Manage to pour some in my glass until that creature mentioned above come from somewhere. I bring my glass but I didn't have time to take the broom nor the insecticide spray. And the most unacceptable thing is I RAN TO THE DEAD END IN MY KITCHEN!
The mindgame begin! How to get the broom or the insecticide? First thing I did. Drink the water. Second, just look at the cockroach flying at random places. Third, see whether the cockroach flied at the same place after few flies. I don't know why I take this seriously. It just a cockroach right? But the term 'cockroachophobia' is the barrier why I can't take the broom nor the insecticide spray. Even though the cockroach was not near the things needed to get me out of there. I just can't.
Time to get brave. No more mindgame between me and the cockroach. What I need to do is take the insecticide spray and spray at the cockroach and when the cockroach is weak, take the broom. And BANG! I am safe! Unfortunately, I just can think of the situation. I don't dare to take the insecticide spray.
So, I look around at things around me. Kettle, rice cooker, gas, microwave, and a work table. I can't do anything with all that right? I can't boil the cockroach in the kettle, or trap the cockroach in the rice cooker, or bake the cockroach in the microwave. The only thing I can do is grab the insecticide and do as I planned.
I did so. I can't believe but I just grabbed the insecticide! GAME ON BABEH! The cockroach will die! YES! WILL DIE!
I sprayed at it and an unexpected thing happened. The cockroach didn't get weak. It just flew out of the window like nothing happened. I thought I will explode because I can feel my blood was sooo hot but thank God I see another not-flying cockroach out from somewhere and I sprayed like half of the insecticide while pursuing the cockroach wherever it go until it died. My heart still want to revenge to the flying cockroach but all I can do that time is kill one of it family so I satisfied now. But still. The flying cockroach will always be in my mind.
